The past few days I feel as though I have been wrestling a dragon.
Actually, I’ve been struggling to put some of my research revelations into words to give a presentation to the Anthropology Department at Chinese University of Hong Kong. I’m hoping all the wrestling pays off, because it’s a great opportunity for me to talk about generations of care, older foster moms, and their kids with a group of smart Anthropology types.
And it’s in Hong Kong. And you know how I love Hong Kong.
This time my husband and I are planning a terrific dinner, a hike down from the Peak, shopping, of course, wine and cheese, and I want to hunt down some good fish and chips.
Can’t wait!

Nice picture. A friend of mine took me the Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant in Hong Kong a couple months ago, and the views at night were spectacular.

Well I can’t claim credit for that photo, but hopefully I’ll have some new ones up with the view from CUHK and from Lantau Island from our recent trip soon!
